Doesn't Anyone Care Any More?

Today I was driving down the road on South Shore Blvd. I came to the intersection of Compass Rose and South Shore Blvd, and there was a sea of broken tempered glass lying across the road. Apparently, the glass came from the door of an entertainment center or some such thing. The person, who lost the door, had to have known they lost it and caused a mess on some road. However, they never gave it another thought and left it for someone else to deal with it. Doesn't anyone care anymore?
