NASA to reach out to the Muslim world

All I can say is it is about time that NASA reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering. President Obama has made this a priority for NASA by allowing Charles Bolden, the Chief administrator of NASA to pursue these lofty goals. All I can say is it is about time the United States pursue some diplomatic initiatives that are uplifting for Muslim countries, instead of the typical oppressive policies of the past Bush/Cheney administration. Maybe if we had encouraged participation by Muslim countries earlier there would not be layoff's at Nasa.

$700k Shortfall In League City Revenues

The City reports that there are around $700k in less money from sales tax receipts than expected.

An uncertain economy, coupled with expected job losses of up to ten thousand jobs within twelve months from Nasa have consumers holding on to their money. Or maybe everyone just finished fixing their houses up and buying supplies at Home Depot and Lowes. Not to worry though, property taxes and franchise taxes are up and are covering the difference. What is wrong with you people? Spend more money!

Complaint filed

Anyone wondering why the Max Kelly for City Council sign has been removed? I just got wind of a complaint being filed with the Ethics Commission because I don't have a treasurer and I have not filed a campaign apllication with the city secretary, my sign does not have a disclaimer stating who my treasurer is and I am to early for campaign 2011. So I am looking for a volunteer to be my Treasurer. Until I can meet the legal requirements with my satire, no more sign. This is a rough town!

Chris Reed Day Shutdown again by Council

Chris Reed day was shutdown again by the City of League City by leaving the item tabled. I guess some grudges die hard. The audio still stinks on channel 16!

If the Rich East Siders Don't Want the Bypass, Cancel it and Fix the Traffic on the West Side!

If the rich people of South Shore Harbor, Davis Road or the Preserve, don't want the bypass, cancel it and do some traffic fixes on the west side of town. I say, let them eat Carbon Monoxide.

Who is strong enough to face me for Tim Paulissen's Open Seat?

When Tim Paulissen runs for Mayor in 2011, which of the Republicans will have the guts to face me? Chris Stevens? None of them have had a race with a real Democrat since Neil Baron won by a lanslide.

League City Voters have Cranial Rectal Syndrome

League City voters elected ultra conservative Joanna Sharp, the Republican darling of League City. Where were the rest of the voters? Where were the 18,000 Democrats of League City? Does this spell trouble for the Democratic ticket in Galveston County this November? Looks like the more things change in League City; the more things stay the same.
