$700k Shortfall In League City Revenues

The City reports that there are around $700k in less money from sales tax receipts than expected.

An uncertain economy, coupled with expected job losses of up to ten thousand jobs within twelve months from Nasa have consumers holding on to their money. Or maybe everyone just finished fixing their houses up and buying supplies at Home Depot and Lowes. Not to worry though, property taxes and franchise taxes are up and are covering the difference. What is wrong with you people? Spend more money!
